And the winner is, Maggie Montgomery with Air Force One. Congratulations, Maggie, you get to choose Monday's question.

Chuck Norris has never really gotten his due in the MFC so I'm not gonna miss this opportunity to throw down some '80's awesomeness.

Delta Force, a film made when Hollywood wasn't afraid to piss off jihadists. Coolest motorcycles ever.

Tough choice. Tons to pick from… but I’m still a big fan of Air Force One (1997) and Harrison Ford, so I gotta go with that one.

My favorite is probably Memphis Bell. Great acting, great airplane. If you get a chance, look at pictures of B-17s returning to base with combat damage. It’s simply amazing!

If you want to hear about an amazing B-17 story you should read A Higher Call: An Incredible True Story of Combat and Chivalry in the War-Torn Skies of World War II.

How that plane survived was miraculous to say the least. https://www.amazon.com/Higher-Call-Incredible-Chivalry-War-Torn/dp/0425255735

So many good options. I have two that come to mind. One is a classic, and the other may not be well known. Hmm... Which to choose? I'm going to have to go with one that didn't take place totally in the air, but the pivotal moments most definitely did. And no... It's not Snakes On A Plane... Sorry.

I'm going to go with Top Gun as my final answer.

Fun idea for any Tom Clancy fans out there: Watch The Hunt Red October, Patriot Games, Clear and Present Danger, and Air Force One in a marathon and pretend that the President in AFO is Jack Ryan.

You're welcome. 😉😀

Umm...question for the ref...how loosely can we define "airplane?" Because I'm gonna go with Up. Come at me. 😁

Sully - with filters.

Tom Hanks is such a flexible actor. He pulls off this one with aplomb.

Angel Vid. Used to remove some objectionable content. Otherwise a very good movie.

Ah. Yeah we used to use that back when we had Amazon Prime video. Loved it.
