#74: Name a movie that inspired or convicted you to do more of something— ie: physical training, painting, writing, gardening, cooking, etc.
We discussed animal protagonists in our last fight. And while Milo and Otis made a strong showing, it was a warhorse who took the prize, for Maggie Montgomery as it were. This week Maggie asks:
Name a movie that inspired or convicted you to do more of something— ie: physical training, painting, writing, gardening, cooking, etc.
Fight it out.
The Rules:
Post your answer as a comment. Make it clear that this is your official answer, one per member.
No profanity. No pornography.
Defend your answer in the comments and fight it out against other MFC members’ answers for the rest of the week.
Whoever gets the most likes on their official answer comment (and only that comment) by Saturday wins the fight. You may like (heart, whatever) as many answers as you want.
The winner gets the honor of posting the next question the following Monday.
In the case of a tie, the member who posted the question will decide the winner.
Notes:
Only movies will qualify (no TV shows, or documentaries); however, films that air on television or streaming (BBC films, a stand-alone mini-series) will qualify.
Your answer can be as off-the-wall or controversial as you’d like. It will be up to you to defend it and win people to your side.
Fight it out.
Would you like to join the fight?
Know someone who’d like to join as well? Let them know about us. The more fighters, the better. Discounted rates are available for groups of four or more…perhaps sign up your family and friends as a gift.
The Karate Kid. I was standing up on the arms of the dining room chairs doing kata moves (much to my mom's chagrin) by the first afternoon. Begged to take karate lessons, got my yellow belt and thought I was all that. In my zeal I challenged my Mexican cousin (who'd taken boxing) to do some sparring, wherein he proceeded to pound the crap out of me. After that, karate didn't seem like such a good time investment.
Throwing this one in just for the fun of shocking my husband 😎…Lone Survivor, which inspired me to pray more for our military.
