What movie is so bad that it’s actually good? The Rules: Post your answer as a comment on the thread. Whoever gets the most likes by Saturday wins and gets to choose next Monday's question.
I have contemplated this, and have come to the conclusion of a classically bad movie. A movie that is a testament of everything the late 70's and 80's that was a horrible experiment and probably involved many illegal substances. It's so bad that I just cringe and laugh through the whole thing.
I am confused by the use of Big Trouble in Little China. You know it has Chinese wizards? And a big rig? And the great Jack Burton? (SPOILER: a wizard explodes.) This film must be on everyone's top ten.
Or both. That would be Batman & Robin. Or maybe Batman Returns. DeVito munching down live fish and drooling black spittle in his mayoral campaign ad was...special. Of course, now we have Biden.
My favorite- so bad it’s good- movie is The Fifth Element.
It’s so entirely cheesy and ridiculous that I can’t help but love it. 😁
Noooo!!!! I love this movie! It was a creative masterpiece!
I probably should’ve followed my instincts and chose Road House instead or something that is clearly and truly “bad” 😂
Did you see they made a remake of Roadhouse with Jake Gyllenhaal? Bletch.
P.S. totally agree about JG 🤢
No! 😁 I have to look it up.
Did you watch it? Was it good?
No way. I can't imagine it being any good and I'm not willing to put in the time to find out.
I agree 100%, but I also know a lot of people put it in the “bad” category because they think it’s too kooky.

Flash Gordon is my final answer!
That was going to be my answer! 😂
Terrible performances, bad writing, overly colorful sci-fi set pieces and costumes.
But...passable special effects considering its era, and a bada** soundtrack by Queen.

I almost went with Remo Williams but couldn't find a good graphic.
And the winner of this week's MFC fight is Maggie Montgomery with The 5th Element. Congratulations, Maggie, you get to choose Monday's question.
Had to think about this one after Chris took my first choice but I finally settled on another, Pacific Rim.
Mysterious aliens emerge from the ocean destroying cities a la Godzilla. Humans create Godzilla sized robots to defeat them.
As my oldest son says, "That movie has no business being good."
Scavenger Hunt (1979).
It's over-acted and over-the-top, but oh, the characters!.... 😂
Not sure I could sit through this farce today, but it's definitely crazy-funny and a favorite movie memory from my childhood!

Journey to the Center of the Earth. It is So Bad! But fun and laughable.
Godzilla vs Kong was beyond preposterous, with subterranean world insanity to beat the band,
Bat or bad? :)
Good catch. This was rushed into production without an editor. 😀

😂🙌🏻
😁 maybe bat <bleep> crazy?
That would be bad too 😂
