Ugh. Just reading this question makes me cringe. The one that immediately came to mind is Mystic Pizza. *head desk* And with that confession which was painful to type, I once again praise my Lord Jesus for redeeming me and transforming my mind.
I'm the same way with new movies. I'll avoid one if Tom Hanks, or someone else I despise is in them but I still love Saving Private Ryan etc.
For me I wonder where the line gets drawn with enjoying the art versus admiring the artist. Do we apply the same principles with literature? Oscar Wilde was deeply flawed. So was MLK, and Benjamin Franklin.
How about painters? Michelangelo comes to mind. And my favorite rock band is Queen.
It's a balance but I don't wrestle too much with it so long as keep in mind that God has always used flawed people, and He gave those flawed people those talents even if they've rejected their God given missions.
Iron Eagle. It's practically unwatchable now but at the time it was the bomb. Cool soundtrack though, I guess.
And the winner is Jess with Mystic Pizza, which apparently I'm lucky to have never seen. Congratulations, Jess, you get to choose Monday's question.

Didn't think of this until the 11th hour... Honestly, it's anything with Tom Hanks.
I can still detach a few of his movies from the association of him being a monster, but I hear ya.

Pretty Woman. Blech.
The Unidentified Flying Oddball - pretty technically advanced at the time, I guess - but awfully cringey now.
My son thinks it's Sky High.
I'm going to have to go with a technological cringe-fest
Lawnmower Man is my final answer. 🤪
