Let me think here. Okay, my time travel movies are Looper, and Twelve Monkeys.
James Cole Bruce Willis (Twelve Monkeys) time travels to discover the source of the killer virus that destroyed the world. On one of his jumps he encounters young Joe (Looper) chasing down Old Joe and saves Old Joe's life. Together the two Bruce Willis' try to hunt down young Joe who thinks he needs to kill them both. Then all three of them discover the Jeffrey Goines (Brad Pitt) plot to weaponize the Jean Grey powered kid (Looper) the real source of the apocalypse. And Madeline Stowe and Emily Blunt team up with them somehow.
The T-800 model is sent back to Punxsutawney, PA to stop the T-1000 from terminating Punxsutawney Phil -the groundhog causing the daily time resets. The woodchuck is tasked with making sure that Phil and Rita fall in love as the couple are to sire, McMurphy, the lovable scamp who grows up to create a virus capable of destroying Skynet.
I’ll concede because my brain started to hurt when I was trying to form my reasoning as to why a time loop-- coming back to the same place you started over and over within the same day (24hrs) -- is different than time travel --leaving one day and time for another day and time.
Yes, I always have a kajillion questions after watching a movie/TV show about time travel. And of course, the theories contradict one another. It's like science. Without the politics. For now, anyway.
Absolutely! But this is “Movie FIGHT Club” 😉😁 I gotta throw the flag no matter how awesome this answer is... and the writer. Let’s hope others show up and duke it out because that’s where the fun is 👏🏻
I think any time travel movie could be improved by combining it with another time travel movie, as long as you also removed the time travel aspect from it.
(Okay fine, I'll keep thinking and try to come up with a real answer.)
And the winner is Kris with the Terminator Groundhog Day pre-equal. Congratulations, Kris, you get to choose Monday's question.

This is brilliant! 🙌🏻😂
Aw, shucks *blushes*
Brilliant as it may be, I may have to throw a flag here. 🤔 I don’t think Groundhog Day really qualifies as time travel.

She definitely deserves a cookie though! 😁🫶🏻
Groundhog Day is a time travel movie. He's literally trapped in a time loop, going back in time every time he falls asleep or dies.
The flag signaling it's cookie time, am I right?! :D
(Thank you for the compliments, Maggie!)
😁😘 Yup, you’re right!
Wow, thanks Katie :D
