LOVE this movie. Before my NY/NJ accent was dialed back from years of living out west, I would get requests (mostly from my husband) to imitate her little speech about her “biological clock ticking ticking ticking” 😁
Up. Mr. Frederickson is completely out of his element in the air, in the jungle, with a dog, and a bird, and a child, and the results are both moving and hilarious.
"Mr. Frederickson? Do we dig the hole before, or after?" (pause) "IT'S BEFORE!!!"
Starman - An alien (Jeff Bridges) comes in the form of Karen Allen's dead husband. Bridges learns to drive from observing Allen. He nearly gets them both killed and explains, "I watched you. Red - stop. Green - go. Yellow - go very fast."
A Fish Called Wanda! K-k-k-k-k-k-en deserves all the love, and people do name their children (or themselves) after cars, but each character in this film is arguably (and in one case, literally) a fish out of water.
My Cousin Vinny. It's surprisingly good for teaching the ins and outs of legal procedure and trial preparation too.

That's such a good answer!
Go watch Up, right now. The first ten minutes will knock your socks off.
😂
And this week's winner is, Shannon with Up!
Congratulations, Shannon, you get to choose Monday's question.

Elf.
Is there anything more “fish out of water” than a 6’3” elf? 😁
😁👏🏻
