It's been a few fights since we've had a tie but this week we've got Mama Mia and LC locked at six votes apiece. Pursuant to MFC rules, the member who posted the question will get to decide the winner. That means it's up to Katie.
The most divisive movie on the internet is definitely The Last Jedi. I don’t know if The Last Jedi actually starts many arguments in person, but boy if you want an endless argument with randos online, just mention this movie.
The Hobbit…the first one, whatever it’s name was, that should never have been broken into three parts in the first place just to eke more money and patience out of Tolkien fans. Peter Jackson should’ve been more familiar with Bilbo’s line later about being scraped thin, sort of stretched, like butter over too much bread.
And yet SOME PEOPLE love it. You know who you are.🤍 Go ahead and fight me. 😎
There was almost a civil uprise when Warner Brothers announced that Ben Affleck was their pick to fill the role of the next Caped Crusader. Fans went ballistic! It all seems so silly now for obvious reasons.
Here, I think this will explain it better than I can-
“...comic-book fans even tried to set up a “Request Warner Brothers/Zack Snyder recast the role of Batman/Bruce Wayne and denounce the selection of Ben Affleck” petition on the White House’s “We the People” website, which is usually used for serious political matters; it was later removed for being in violation of the terms of participation.”
Back then (2016) I had a handmade business that sold pop culture items. We actually sold a book bag with an unattractive picture of Ben and the tag line “Not MY Batman” written under it. 😁 Don’t judge. My priorities were a bit more shallow back then 😋😂

And rightfully so!
And the winner is, Mama Mia with Die Hard. Congratulations, Mama Mia, you get to choose Monday's question.

He's certainly not MY Batman.
