I'll take the pastoral angle and say Legends of the Fall. The ranch, mountains, horse and livestock pastures (and yes, gardens) are exactly where I'd love to spend most of my days. Even three months into a hard winter if I had enough books. You can't watch that movie and not fall in love with the land.

I’m enjoying all your responses…you get a vote, and you get a vote, and you get a vote!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Haha. Let’s throw this one out there while I’m still thinking of others: Anne of Green Gables! Come on! What’s not to love? The wagon ride home from the station itself is swoon-worthy. Sweeping vistas of fields and ancient trees…sometimes bobbing over the winding roadway…sometimes sentry on a hill. And then those scenes with Mathew tending fields with Green Gables in the background….the pond with bridge…. It’s hard to beat, y’all. But just for good measure, let’s also consider the epic, manicured-yet-wild Rivendell. Hmmm
OhhHHHhhh, there are so many good answers for this...I can't decide. Most of the Jane Austens, Howards End, Enchanted April, This Beautiful Fantastic...I'll come back after y'all make some more eliminations for me. Feel free to pick any of those, and talk amongst yourselves.
Yes! Though I haven’t seen any of those you listed except several Jane Austin’s (getting pen to write down titles for some season when I can watch movies again)!
Ya know, it’s a good thing I didn’t say final answer... I’m not sure of Sound of Music qualifies as pastoral/garden since it’s more like mountainous vistas, but there are rolling hills of green... I think I’ll come back with a better answer.

There’s a lot to love about Montana, and LotF captures it nicely. I’m trying to remember gardens…Alfred’s town home? Can’t recall.
Miss Potter.
That was one of the first that came to mind for me. Particularly the last scene as Beatrix writes and reminisces on the Lakeside District hill. WOW
Okay, I’m going with Howards End — the new version, with Hayley Atwell. Trees and fields and copses, oh my.
I thought you wrote corpses at first. I was like, I know there was one corpse but...
Always a danger with that word. But hey, it's British drama, soooo...

I'll give a vote to Anne of Green Gables but Rivendell was all CGI.
It's true...it's true. But WTG on voting for Anne! I'm close to making it official.
The White…Way of…DELIGHT. yaassssss 👏🏻😍
yassssss!
The Shire! Hobbiton! In any of The Hobbit or LOTR series :D (Final answer)
(I'm sorry to the Janes Austen'ish movies which comes in a close second)
Yeah…how could we not include the Shire?! Every garden has its own flavor though, and I tend toward a little more wildness in my ideal…

And the winner is Kylez. Congratulations, Kylez, you get to choose Monday's question.
There’s just SO many. I was torn by two in particular, but I have to go with the one that holds a place in my heart- Sound of Music.
Vince mentioned mountains so...
Ooh “the mountains are alive” for sure!

I defend your rolling vistas…I think they qualify. :)
I'm going with the inspiring gardening work of Edward Scissorhands.
