Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Few movies are more pop culture iconic than The Princess Bride and it's polar opposite, Rocky Horror Picture Show, but Monty Python is.

It seems like Lucas, Spielberg, and Cameron really dominate these kinds of movies. I’ll go with Star Wars, despite the state of the IP these days.

What?!? I can’t believe none of you guys have nominated this one yet — possibly because of memories of restriction from the original MFC, but that’s out the window for now, soooo…

My choice was not an instant hit, but has been gaining a lot of momentum for the last ten years or so.

I loved it from the beginning. It's quirky, creative, funny, has quite a few memorable scenes and lines and has one of my favorite actors, Gary Oldman.

The Fifth Element is my final answer.

I thought it was weird when it first came out because I was hoping for a Bruce Willis action movie. I didn't appreciate it for what it was until later but always thought it was worth the watch.

Love this movie! Good one. My husband and I watch this and the Princess Bride entirely too much. We definitely need new material to quote 😂

Saw this at one of the midnight showings in Hollywood with all of the bells and whistles that go with it. There are some things you just cannot un-see. I still hear the lyrics, "... I love yoooou..." whenever someone says "Janet."

Truth be told, that movie literally embodies the definition of a “pop culture classic” even though I wish it weren’t so 😁

Good one!
