I was never a fan of the spaghetti westerns I saw so I skipped this one. But owing to it's cinematic influence, and it's renown score I've kept in my watchlist forever.
It's similar to how I felt about Schindler's List. I know I should watch it, and I most likely will watch it eventually... But I just don't really want to 😞
Passion of the Christ is pretty intense. When I watched it, I was really just taking it all in. It wasn't until the credits that it hit. I was a ball of tears for a few before I could leave the theater.
You should definitely see it. Just have some Kleenex ready!
Oh wow, tough choice because the list is long! Probably the most egregious, as far as movies I should’ve watched by now, is The Bridge on the River Kwai.

I think that one movie I really should see is Vertigo from Alfred Hitchcock. I have always been a Hitchcock fan, but for whatever reason, I don't think I have ever seen this one. It is said to be one of Hitchcock's most iconic films. A film that is not only great to watch, but one that most love to watch over and over.
The only reason I have never seen this film, is because I just forget about it. With all of the movies cycling through the different sources, the classic and iconic films are often not given the attention that they should.
All Quiet on the Western Front. Should watch it because it’s an important movie to gain perspective on WW1. Haven’t watched it because I know it will be difficult/horrendous to watch. One of my sons said there’s nothing about it that made him want to watch it, other than he just knew it was important.
2022. There are 1930 and 1978 (?) versions out there as well. I think of the modern rendition as similar style (if more violent) as Saving Private Ryan.
Fight Club. My sister watched that back then. Seems like it was controversial at the time, didn't really have much interest in it, though it seems to have had more staying power in the culture than I would have expected, lots of references to it.
I'm gonna have to sit this one out, y'all. We are big movie watchers in our home. If I want to see it, I will see it, and if I don't want to see it, I ain't gonna watch it. I am happy to dispense with the hearts though! :D
I could write a 1000 word post on everything wrong with The Shining starting with the way they treated Scatman Crothers. Shameful. So maybe I'm the wrong person to ask.
Psycho is a classic for better reasons and is worth a watch for film history reasons maybe. It's not a horror movie as we'd describe them today except for that brief shower scene you've probably already seen.
The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly.

I will watch it. Eventually. 🙃
Sounds like you should make that your final answer. 😁
And the winner is...Ireland with Passion of the Christ. Great job, Ireland, you get to choose tomorrow's question.
Hmmm…Singing in the Rain. Never seen it, probably should. Haven’t though because, well, Fred Astaire is not Jimmy Stewart. 😁
Ah! It’s Gene Kelly, not Fred Astaire? See, what do I know? 😂 (But Gene Kelly isn’t Gary Cooper, so…my reasoning still sticks.) 😁
Kelly's a better actor than Astaire, and at least as good a dancer. The greatest musical ever.

Great movie with a painful ending. Just so you're ready.
Like Saving Private Ryan? Or worse? Half a box of tissues or just a few? 😁
Different kind of hard. Not worse, not like Saving Private Ryan at all.

New version or old version? I've heard the new version is spectacular but very violent.

The Drinker gave it his seal of approval. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSFlDpiJs8w
I've always wanted to watch the 1930 version.

Of those I say prioritize Casablanca and GWTW and in that order. I don't recommend anyone ever watch The Shining.
The Shining is such an overrated movie, I don't know how it got so big in recent years.
Kubrick. ALL Stanley Kubrick movies are overated for some reason I've never understood.
